Meld Solutions Begins Training For Mura CMS
Meld Solutions Inc. is now offering training seminars, with our first scheduled series on March 7-9 in London, UK.
All courses we offer will be vetted and certified by Blue River Interactive, creators of the Mura CMS. The courses will be geared towards specific topics such as Theme creation, Mura site administration and of course our specialty Mura development.
Our first series of courses, held in London, England in early March will include a one day Theme creation / Site administration course, followed by two days of Mura CMS development and Plugin creation. The Theme/administration course will be geared towards individuals who are considering using Mura or who have begun to create Mura CMS websites but would like to maximize their productivity and the power of the content management system.
The development sessions will be for users with moderate-to-significant ColdFusion experience who wish to extend Mura CMS through custom development. The first development session will focus upon the Mura API and the many 'hooks' into the CMS, while the second will focus specifically upon Plugin development.
These sessions will be presented by Grant Shepert, manager and lead developer for Meld Solutions. Grant has over 15 years experience as a web developer and trainer. He has worked closely with the Mura CMS team to not only contribute to the CMS itself, but help develop a comprehensive and wide-ranging community of plugins and extensions to the Mura platform.
